Emma Harris (nee Brewer) & Katie Brewer

Both Emma & Katie began dancing at a young age at their grandmother’s dance school in Surrey.Emma trained as a professional dancer in the early 90s at The Jazz Dance School in Bath, followed by Bodyworks Performing Arts in Cambridge. Katie continued with dance training up into her teens and then after University went straight into teaching.

In 2002, some friends asked for some help choreographing their First Dance and after only a couple of weekends, and a glass or two of wine (!), they taught their friends their routine. The first dance proved to be a big hit and two years later they were still teaching couples who had been to the wedding. In 2005, they opened up First Dance Studios as a base to teach couples in the South East of England and won the Wrapit Wedding Awards in 2008.

Laura Griffiths

Laura began teaching at the studio in 2005; she trained in Latin American / Ballroom before studying Dance and Culture at the University of Surrey where she recently completed an MA. During her training Laura has studied Contemporary, Ballet, African People’s Dance and Kathak.
